TeleTech Creates More than 3,000 New Jobs in 18 Months and Opens Six Customer Experience Sites in United States

Expansion Reflects Growing Demand for Exceptional Customer Experience in Healthcare and Financial Services; New Centers Have State-of-the-Art Technology and Green Features

DENVER, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TeleTech Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC), a leading global provider of analytics-driven, technology-enabled customer engagement solutions, has created more than 3,000 U.S.-based jobs in the past 18 months and opened six customer experience sites as a result of increased client need for customer experience experts to service the healthcare and financial services industries.

TeleTech has partnered very closely with communities across the U.S. to bring new full-time jobs with a suite of benefits and career paths to their residents. In the last three months alone, TeleTech has opened the doors of new customer experience sites located in Jonesboro, AR, Sherwood, AR, and Paducah, KY – the majority of them dedicated to healthcare support, continuing TeleTech's expansion in this industry. Other centers including Ennis, Texas, Melbourne, FL and Hopkinsville, KY were first opened in 2013 and created more than 800 additional jobs in 2014. A local TeleTech site in Greeley, CO also has plans to hire 225 more employees by the end of this year.

These new centers utilize the latest in multichannel technology including thin terminal technology that consumes less power in a virtual desktop environment as well as HD video technology enabling remote training and meetings from anywhere on the globe. The sites have been built with environmentally-friendly features such as air conditioning that uses 15% outside air, natural day-lighting wherever possible, and recycled content in both flooring and workstations. TeleTech also leveraged an ergonomic consultant to ensure that all seating is correct for the hours of use and employee job function.
