Leaders Honored for Developing Advanced Cloud Architecture
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Nov 16, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC),a preferred global provider of
technology-based business process solutions, announced today that two of
its executives were named the 2010 Cloud Architects of the Year by Oracle.
This award recognizes the individual or group who has demonstrated
knowledge and understanding of Oracle's technologies by designing or
implementing a public or private cloud architecture that provides
immediate, measurable benefits in an enterprise deployment.
Theresa Enebo, TeleTech's vice president of enterprise applications and
development, and Aaron Seabaugh, TeleTech's director of IT client
solutions, led an internal development team to create the technology
infrastructure that supports the company's cloud platform. The creative
implementation of Oracle's products has reduced the time required to set
up new clients or projects from a few days to a few minutes.
"With cloud computing, our clients can meet rapidly changing service
requirements by adding service delivery resources from anywhere in the
world without installing new infrastructure," said Enebo. "The
collaborative effort of multiple companies coming together to create new
revenue streams and address underserved markets in a whole new way is
very exciting for me, and for TeleTech."
"The most important experiences our clients have with our cloud services
are ease of use and availability," said Seabaugh. "We help our clients
handle significant delivery volumes, scale easily to accommodate growth,
and have a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy."
Cloud computing represents a paradigm shift in distributed computing
resources. Rather than having a mainframe or client-server model, cloud
computing frequently takes the form of web-based tools or applications
that users can access through a web browser. Cloud computing offers a
variable-cost model without any capital investment or ongoing upgrades.
End-users no longer have the need for expertise in, or control over, the
technology infrastructure in the cloud that supports them.
For nearly 30 years, TeleTech has helped the world's largest companies
achieve their most ambitious goals. As the go-to partner for the Global
1000, TeleTech delivers technology-based solutions that maximize
revenue, transform customer experiences and optimize business processes.

42,000 employees drive success for clients in the communications and
media, financial services, government, healthcare, technology,
transportation and retail industries. The company delivers award-winning
integrated solutions in support of customer
innovation and professional
