As TeleTech's executive vice president of operations and IT,
Martin DeGhetto focuses on streamlining and optimizing TeleTech's
global operations and information technology in order to
enhance the services TeleTech provides to its clients.
DeGhetto is an industry veteran who has managed large scale business process
outsourcing customer service operations for major companies
such as AT&T, American Express, and Convergys. His career has
covered the functional areas of operations, technology, process
re-engineering, and executive management.
Prior to joining TeleTech, DeGhetto served as executive vice
president for the Commercial Division at Connextions, Inc., where
he was responsible for client satisfaction, profitability, and
growth for their commercial clients. His previous role was with
Convergys as the senior vice president, North American/European
Operations. In this position he led contact center operations that
included 48,000 customer service employees across the U.S., Canada,
and Europe. Prior to Convergys, DeGhetto was vice president,
International Customer Service with American Express, where he was
responsible for improving productivity, quality, and costs for 28
international contact centers. Prior to joining American Express,
DeGhetto was with AT&T/American Transtech in several
operational and IT leadership positions, including leading the
Employee Benefit Services business unit.
DeGhetto holds a bachelor of science degree in Management from
Southeastern University.
